Holton and Blyford Village Hall
It's Spring Craft Fair time at the Hall – Saturday 6th April – will see a collection of very different stalls selling everything from superb photographic prints via food, to gifts for all those birthdays and special occasions. Do come along and have a cup of coffee/tea and a piece of home made cake and wander amongst the colourful array on offer and then there’s hot bacon rolls and tasty soups to savour at lunch time.
All Hallows
It is with enormous sadness that All Hallows’ board of trustees has to announce that All Hallows Healthcare Trust and all of its services are likely to close, subject to staff consultation. They have been forced to accept that it is now impossible to balance income and costs on an ongoing basis.
YOXFORD CRICKET CLUB
Further to the article in last month’s edition, the Club is still recruiting players at all levels and also would welcome support and sponsorship under several schemes, starting from as little as £ 25 a year.

IT'S open house at Slaughden Sailing Club and Aldeburgh Yacht Club (AYC) on Sunday 5th May and Sunday 19th May respectively and everyone is invited to come and have some fun. This is a chance to try sailing and learn some new skills; experience the beautiful river Alde in a boat – under wind or engine power. Sailing is an activity that can be enjoyed at any age and many levels.

Ilketshall St Andrew Plant Sale
The 10th Annual Plant Sale at Ilketshall St Andrew will take place at the Village Hall on Saturday 27th April 2019 from 9am-12pm.
There will, as usual, be flower and vegetable plants, bulbs and assorted garden items for sale. This is a good opportunity to buy reasonably priced local plants for the coming season.

CHILDREN DURING WORLD WAR II
THE February meeting of the Alde Valley Suffolk Family History Group will hear from Berry Mayall about childhood during the Second World War. Bringing in the harvest. Watching for enemy aircraft. Rescuing survivors from the wreckage of bombed houses. Keeping the family business running when parents were enlisted into war-work. These are just a few examples of how children and young people made substantial contributions to the war effort during the Second World War.

Concert for Organ and Flute – All Saints Church Alburgh Saturday 2nd February 2019 – 7pm
