Teddy Parachute Jumps

Two teddy parachute jumps at 12noon and 2pm are taking place from Billingford Windmill Saturday 19th August.

 
The mill will be open from 11am-4pm to raise money for the complete restoration of the windmill, new sails etc.
The event is also part of the Harleston & Waveney Festival commemorating 75 years since the American invasion by USAAF in 1942.
Apart from tours of the mill, displays on the common will include American private cars and ex military vehicles with en actors.  Also attending an ex USAF lady who worked on Galaxy aircraft, the Norfolk Whittler, Dicklebees honey bee demonstration, plus Norfolk honey.  If any one has an ex military vehicle they would like to bring along, please let us know.
Prizes of £10 voucher for teddy travelling farthest in each drop.  Teddy entry will cost 50p. Enter as many times as you wish.
A Raffle to be drawn at 15.30
Light refreshments from the Shepherd’s Hut.  Entrance and parking on the common are free.
