Best paw forward for charity dog walk
LOCAL hearing care specialists, The Hearing Care Centre have announced a return of their special charity dog walk – helping raise funds for Hearing Dogs for Deaf People.
The four – five mile route takes in the beautiful countryside and river views between Newbourne and Waldringfield and promises to be a treat for any four-legged friends and their owners alike. The morning stroll takes place on Saturday 20th May (9.30am), in Newbourne, with breakfast being served at the halfway point – The Maybush Inn in Waldringfield.
Hearing Care Centre Audiologist and Managing Director Karen Finch, who herself has a young Cockapoo, said “Whether you have a dog or not, we would love for you to join us. Enjoying a spot of breakfast and a breath of fresh air whilst raising money for a fantastic charity – what could be better?!”
The walk forms part of the Suffolk Walking Festival which takes place between May 13th -June 4th. They are celebrating their 10th anniversary with over 100 walks organised across the county already. Tickets for the event are £10 which includes breakfast, bottled water and doggie treats. Anybody can take part and dogs are not compulsory.
