Christian Aid Week in Beccles

FUND raising events to mark Christian Aid Week May 14th – 20th will be held in Beccles.

A concert given by the Gospel Choir and musicians of the Sir John Leman High School will be held on Friday 12th May at Hungate Church at 7pm.

The traditional soup lunches will be served in the lounge at Hungate Church from 12noon until 1.30pm every weekday starting on Monday 15th May.

Collectors will be in Tesco on Thursday, and in the precinct on Friday, with a book stall on Saturday morning 20th May also in the centre of Beccles.

Last year events in the Beccles area raised a grand total of  £5,062.70 for the work of Christian Aid.  Money raised this year will help many of the refugees around the world.
