THE EAGLE HUNTRESS (2016)

THE Film@Fram showing on Wednesday 5th April will be ‘The Eagle Huntress’ (2016) at 7.30pm. Starring Aisholpan Nurgaiv and Daisy Ridley and directed by Otto Bell, Aisholpan, a 13-year-old girl trains to become the first female in twelve generations of her Kazakh family to become an eagle hunter. A documentary set against the breath-taking expanse of the Mongolian steppe, and narrated by Star Wars’ Daisy Ridley. (U) 87 mins.
