Beccles is preparing to welcome the festive season in style as the town comes alive on Friday 28th November for its much-anticipated Christmas Light Switch-On. Residents and visitors are invited to enjoy an evening packed with seasonal entertainment, and family-friendly activities.

The celebrations will begin in the town from 5pm and continue throughout the evening across key locations in the town:

Christmas Lights Switch-On – 6pm

Beccles Town Centre
The heart of Beccles will glow as the town’s Christmas lights are officially illuminated at 6pm. Crowds are encouraged to gather early to soak up the atmosphere and enjoy the build-up.

Stalls in St Michael’s Church
From 5pm
Browse an array of festive stalls inside the beautiful St Michael’s Church. Ideal for finding unique gifts, crafts, and tasty Christmas treats.

Santa’s Grotto – £3 per child
