Local charity football team enjoying another busy year!
Westhall Charity FC have now had two games this year already with at least four more to go.
We’re looking to spread the word about us to hopefully get more people involved to both bring people together having fun and raise as much money as possible for what is mostly local charities.
We have been playing just over a year now and raised almost £4800 over our events.
We have raised for Halesworth dementia carer’s fund, the pear tree fund, friends of Halesworth Community Health and Care, SULSAR Suffolk lowland search and rescue, Rural first responders and the brain tumour charity in which is our yearly event and the reason we started.
The remaining events this year are;
- May 26th at the Nest in Norwich raising for SHELTER 1pm kick off – we have space for 100 spectators for this and any amount for the rest
- June 8th no venue yet raising for ARTBOX Arts Chediston
- August 3rd at Wenhaston the brain tumour charity memorial match
- October 12th no venue yet for the Waveney Deaf Society
We include any gender and ability over 16 and pride ourselves with bringing people together giving equal opportunities.
We hope to see as many spectators and new players as we can over the year and anyone who wishes to take part, donate raffle prizes or any other support can get in touch via our social media page Westhall Charity FC where we have all of our updates.
