Halesworth Dementia Carers Fund – They Made It!

On Monday 24th July Giles Scoble (son in law of our patron Paddy Cox) and his friend Simon Taylor completed their cycle ride from St Davids in Wales to Lowestoft Ness, an unsupported run of over 450 miles. Their journey went very well, though on Saturday 22nd they had to cycle 107 miles in continuous rain. On Sunday 23rd they were greeted by a large group of family, friends, and members of the HDCF committee. So far they have raised well in excess of £3,000. Half will go to Pancreatic Cancer Action and the other half is coming to Halesworth Dementia Carers Fund. We are so grateful to these two incredible riders for undertaking such an epic journey to support our work.
