Woodbridge Charity Christmas Card Shop goes Online

The traditional Charity Christmas Card Shop in Woodbridge has recently closed to meet the current Covid regulations. However it is now open online with a Click & Collect service.

Card orders can be placed at the shop website: https://woodbridge-41-card-shop.sumup.link/ and there are more details at the shop Facebook page: https://www.facebook.com/Woodbridge-41-Club-Charity-Christmas-Card-Shop-103142464931663

The shop is open, for collection only, between 11 am and noon, except on Sunday, from Unit 2, Deben Wharf, Tide Mill Way, Woodbridge IP1 1FP, close to the Tide Mill.

The shop is organised by Woodbridge 41Club, and proceeds are used to support local charities and other good causes. The shop is especially important this year as many charities are facing a significant drop in donations, due to Covid.

The 41 Club organiser, Roger Parker commented, “Given the difficulties of the Covid pandemic I am hoping that our shop will help to raise valuable funds for many worthwhile charities. Sending a Christmas card is a great way to keep in touch with friends and family who you may be missing this year. I am very grateful to all the shop volunteers who are willing to help in these difficult times. Please share the link to our online shop with your friends and family.”

The shop stocks the largest selection of Charity cards in Suffolk from over 20 different charities. This includes favourites such as RNLI, Marie Curie Cancer, Barnardos, Blue Cross and Amnesty. Additional local charities include St. Elizabeth Hospice, East Anglian Children’s Hospices, Somersham Ward, East Anglian Air Ambulance and Suffolk Wildlife Trust.
