UGGESHALL COUNTRY TEAS

2019  celebrates the 50th Golden Year of the ever-popular Uggeshall Country Teas  and they will be held on the last weekend of July and the first weekend of August 2019 from 2.30pm to 5.30pm.

Just 5 miles from Southwold and set in idyllic surroundings of the orchard and garden of the Old School in Uggeshall, the teas have become a fixture in the diaries of numerous visitors to Suffolk over the past 49 years.

As ever, friendly villagers will be there to welcome guests and serve the now traditional home-made drop scones, breads, Suffolk rusks and wonderful Slimmers World defying cakes, all served with freshly-made pots of tea, coffee or soft drinks.

Commemorative Uggeshall Teas Recipe Books and mugs will be on sale, the Uggeshall Garden Club will be donating a selection of plants and produce and a bric-a-brac stall may be selling a yet-to-be discovered antique.

2018 Uggeshall Teas once again enjoyed great support and proceeds went towards maintenance of St. Mary's Church, the Old School and local charities.

Parking is free and plentiful and the grounds and facilities are wheelchair accessible.

If you rely on Sat-Nav to get from A to B, the postcode is NR34 8EN and details are available at Uggeshall Country Teas on Facebook.
